The story so far

Another blog in the market.

Anyway, let’s get to the business. The inspiration for the name of this blog comes from a certain Rick Riordan, who in the final book of The Heroes Of Olympus Series, The Blood Of Olympus; wrote;

The main thing about ghosts – most of them have lost their voices. In Asphodel, millions of them wander around aimlessly, trying to remember who they were. You know why they end up like that? Because in life they never took a stand one way or another. They never spoke out, so they were never heard. Your voice is your identity. If you don’t use it,’ he said with a shrug, ‘you’re halfway to Asphodel already.

Cheerio. That is a reference in Greek mythology, where the fields of Asphodel were the place in the underworld (as the Greeks believed) where the people who did neither good nor bad went. They roamed around aimlessly there, searching for a purpose.

Having always believed in voicing my opinion, I hence decided to make this blog. It has no particular genre, no distinctive topics. Anything that is seemed to be worthy to be thought about, shall be worked on.

I am Vishvaraj, and I prefer the pseudonym ‘Funadrius’. I am a book lover, I deal in words. I like to listen to music and I sing for my own select pleasure.
